The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

John 3:16
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Father your word is life (John 10:10). I pray, John 3:30 over myself that I would decrease- as you must increase. You are the storyteller of the “Greatest Love Story. I pray that hearts will be open to receive your love and healing with truth today in the mighty name of Jesus.

Genesis 3:1-10
The Man and Woman Sin
3 The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden? 2 “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. 3 “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.'” 4 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. 5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” 6 The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful, and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So, she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. 7 At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.8 When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man[a] and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So, they hid from the Lord God among the trees. 9 Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” 10 He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”

And there we have it the story about how man fell, and sin entered the world. All done by just a simple suggestion spoken by Satan to rob us of the life that God intended us to have, One without spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27).

With just, this simple and small act of disobedience, Sin entered the world. Death, Trials, Tribulation, and sickness entered the world with a vengeance believing that it would leave mankind hopeless, while that was a good attempt by Satan to pull us out of the purpose of God, we serve a God that is from everlasting (Genesis 21:33 Then Abraham planted a tamarisk tree at Beersheba, and there he worshiped the Lord, the Eternal God. A God who sees and knows all things because they even happen and always goes ahead of us to make sure that he corrects what was done to ensure that we pass over. This morning I was led by the spirit of God to watch a short clip by one of my favorite Teachers who has now gone on to be with the Lord but his wisdom can still be listened to for years to come. Mr. Billy Graham or who some like to refer to as the Greatest American Evangelist. The message was called “The Greatest Love” and was based on the scripture John 3:16.

John 3:16
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Eternal life is what most believers await. This is important, but what about the life we have here on earth? do you think that God is not concerned with the way we are living here? Do you ever think about why you were sent here along with the condition that you are living in?

At the beginning of John 3:1-2, The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Do you believe in Miracles?

I only ask because there had to be something that Jesus did when he came into their regions that Nicodemus described as a miracle. Have you ever stopped and wondered where that power came from and why it came? I can answer that with one simple statement “Because God loved the world so much. When I first came to know God and even now as I learn more about him it is really hard to fathom to the full depth how much he loves us that he sent his one and only son to earth to suffer and go to the cross for us.

Love- 1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us.
Compassion – Matthew 14:14 When just landed and saw a large crowd he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
Joy- John 15:11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

These are all emotions that God wants his children to feel but also experience to the fullest here on earth. But there is only one way to have the fullness of this and his name is Elohim the Mighty one. Easter will be here in a few days I am sure that many are looking forward to spending quality time with family and friends but could I challenge you to push past the way the world says that we should find love, peace, and joy and separate ourself from the distractions of the world and focus on the Greatest Love story ever told. I believe that this is important and I can only speak based on my own experience I have. Since the removal of certain forms of entertainment, the Lord has given me a great sense of relaxation. Today is day 21 without social media or anything that might sway the way he has been calling me to live and believe in. I feel less stressed, I am thinking clearly, and have been more intentional about the things that I give myself focus to. But most importantly I have been spending more time at the feet of our Father receiving daily what it is that I need, the Great one, the lover of my soul (Song of Solomon 3:1).

John 3:16
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Hebrews 4:15 “This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. How blessed are we to have a savior that understands where we are? Jesus did something for us that we can never truly understand and this was all done because of the love that God has for us. I know, I might be asking someone to make a huge sacrifice, but everything I write is never from my own heart. I only write what I hear God speak and my meat is to do the will of God (John 4:34 Then Jesus explained: “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work. You can start small by giving up 1-2 hours, or even 1-2 days however the Lord tells you to do. The verse of this week is from John 3:16 and pray that the Lord will reveal something new about him that you have never experienced before. Allowing God to show you how important you are to him and that he made the ultimate Sacrifice.

Closing Prayer
Philippians 1:6 And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Lord in Genesis 3:6 “The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. This one act of disobedience brought on the fall of mankind, but you knew this would happen because you are God and we are mere flesh. Psalm 103:14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. But you did not stop loving us but sent your love in human form so that we would know that your love is longsuffering even when we face fiery trials. When Daniel your servant’s friend refused to bow to false Gods they were tossed into the fire by King Nebuchadnezzar, it says that you came and stood there with them keeping them from all harm so that the world would know who all power belongs to Jehovah. Please read Daniel 3 and know that when God calls you to take a stance and obey him it is for a reason and even when persecuted if you listen for his voice you will hear him say what he said to The Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Help us revere you enough that we are willing to set aside time this week with you and without outside distractions. I pray now that those who desire more of you will draw near and understand that true Love, compassion, and joy can only be found in your presence. Isaiah 55:6 seek the Lord while he may he can be found, call on him now while he is near. I destroy every yoke of bondage holding your children to social media, pornography, and the fear of letting go of the past. I seal this prayer with the Blood of Jesus.

The song of the week is called Loved By You by Travis Greene

I pray that as we meditate on what God did for us this Holy week that we will think about Life and understand no matter the circumstances we are blessed and Loved beyond measure.

Happy Holy Week I profess with my mouth and Heart that Jesus is the son of God and Lord of my Life
