This post took some time to write. Grief comes without warning, but thank God when it rare its wicked head the Spirit of God lifts a standard; No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
Heavenly, Father I pray that as your children read your word that the scales that have been hindering them from seeing the way you desire them to see disintegrate in the name of Jesus.
At the touch of Ananias, something like scales fell from Paul’s eyes. He saw the Light and Got Baptized.
This week I would like my readers to be intentional about what I am about to share with you. My only request is for you to read the Book of Acts chapter 9:1-19. I need you to understand that when God has a plan for you that no man can stop him; not even yourself. I plead the blood of Jesus over the room that you are in and bind every distraction that would try to pull you away from this post but more importantly God’s word.
Again the Lord taught me this week that even things meant for children will be used to advance his kingdom. Not only does this text teach his children how to follow him but also to (Abide) and stay hidden in the secret place. This week I will be speaking on the topic of the eye of the Spirit. In the name of Jesus pray that the “Eyes of our Hearts” Ephesians 1:8 will be open with understanding; having a deeper revelation on only who God is but also who he has called us to be. We are his watchman but to do this one’s eyes need to open to understanding the times that we are living in but also what we should be doing. And with that being said Lord, help us also be more mindful of the things that we gaze upon.
Eyes, Ayin in Hebrew which means sigh, look, or appearance. All of us have them “But are they working the way that I intended for them to work” is what I hear the Lord speak. In the Book Battlefield of the Mind for Kids; written by Joyce Meyers in the chapter called “Who’s Minding your Mind? She says you have to mind your mind and get it prepared to do your best. If you think you’re going to play well while you are practicing for a recital, chances are you will. But if your mind isn’t on practicing or playing you probably won’t do very well. She was speaking on setting your mind and keeping it on the things that are above. Philippians 4:8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
We hear very often keep our minds fixed on Christ, but what about our eyes? The spirit of God speaks. The Apostle Paul has eyes to see naturally but spiritually he was blinded until his true encounter with Christ. He saw what many of us see, but my question to you is are you seeing correctly?
The Apostle Paul thought believers of Jesus Christ has it all wrong. But this was based on what he was taught. Philippians 3:3-6 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5 Circumcised the eighth day of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
Paul, clearly states that what he had before meant nothing compared to what his eyes bestowed upon.
Steer= of a person) Guide or control the movement of a vehicle, vessel, or aircraft.
Focus on me, set your gaze upon me I hear God speak. Set your affections on the things above and not beneath. Have Faith knowing I won’t steer you down the wrong road. Have faith is what I hear God Speak.
Philippians 2:4-5
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Look at Jesus the great one for he sees all things. Many of us are losing focus for many reasons and some of them are legitimate. I know that when Joshua died my focus shifted and still does quite often no matter how much I am praying and seeking his face. My focus at times is on my reality and centered on the lies that the enemy was speaking that my life would never be the same. My child is gone but I believe that the only way to triumph in this situation is to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus.
I hear the Lord speak “My eyes can be your eyes if you ask me to see. Zechariah 5:1-4 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.4 I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
Zechariah was able to see and hear what the Lord wanted him to see because his eyes were fixed on God. Have you shifted your focus? I am going to ask you to get a piece of paper and write down every situation or concern you may be facing. When done pray this prayer, Father, I come boldly before your throne. Lord if there be any sin in my life known or unknown I confess and repent my sins to you. Lord, I don’t know when or even how I lost my focus, but I give you each and everything on my list begin to speak them out loud surrendering them to the and place them at the feet of Jesus. Lord help bring my focus back to you; Lord help me to remember that no matter what is happening around me that it is just a temporary distraction. I ask in the name of Jesus that you remove from my eyes all spiritual Cataracts that are stopping me from seeing what you want me to see. The blood of Jesus washes my eyesight and heals my sight in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:9
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.
I heard the Lord say tell them to speak this over themselves my eyes will see as the Lord speaks
