Hebrews 11:5: “By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: ‘He could not be found, because God had taken him away.’ For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.”
This morning, my son asked me, “By faith?” as the opening depiction on my platform, and I responded because I see myself as a woman of faith. I started to cry after those words left my mouth because I think about what I am going through and how, although I am healing, it doesn’t erase what has brought me here.
2026 is here, and God is still working removing and uplifting my soul even when the lies of the enemy tell me there is no hope for me in God. Joshua has been gone just a little over four years, and God has carried me the whole way. His Word has matured me, kept me focused, and even has been a glimpse of light to others.
I heard a few years ago Pastor Brandon Clack, who is the pastor of Reformation Memphis Church, say, “We are not in the Bible, but people are watching us, our story, and how we are leaning on God and they are learning from it.”
2026 is here, and I know that your circumstance might not be what you expected, but if I can leave you with this: God loves you so much that He sent His Word to heal, conquer, and uphold you. The opening passage is from the book of Hebrews 11 please read this chapter, looking at all that God did for His people, individuals just like me and you, and stand on the truth that you are not forgotten, God is pleased with you, better days are here, and He has great things in store for you.
If you feel like your faith is being challenged, I pray that God will supernaturally strengthen it right now, in the mighty name of Jesus.
