Going Even When You Don’t Feel like It

Going Even When You Don’t Feel like It

As I was putting my pen on the paper, I remember that I had something that I already had written, but felt like I needed to start this week’s post with some declaration from the word of God because without the word nothing makes sense. It has kept me even when I don’t feel like I want to be kept. Remember when doing the Lord’s work opposition will come. Today is February 3rd exact time is 11:18 am and was thinking about life this morning and then I heard this race isn’t for the swift. I then heard God say go look it up and I was led to Ecclesiastes 9:11 which reads” I returned and saw under the sun that—The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.

~This journey is not for the swift~

When opposition comes we are not to shrink back but draw near to God drawing the sword that he has provided us with which is his word. Sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart Hebrews 4:12.

Lord, in Isaiah 10:27, says” it shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. Do what you spoke of King Jesus destroy the yoke of bondage. Like last week, we are going to speak life over every situation in our lives that is contrary to the word of God. Proverbs 18:21 says that life and death are in the power of the tongue and those that love it shall eat its fruit I do not know about you but I’m choosing life. Every day, every hour, and every minute even down to the second if you want to get technical, I need God and will never go a day without expressing that I live to serve King Jesus. So, let’s start with the verses I heard the Lord speak to me you can write them down so you have them, or what I have seen someone do is voice record them on their device that way they have them available when needed. There is something powerful about hearing the word of God be spoken Romans 10:17 speaks So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

I decree over my life Isaiah 54:14 I am established in righteousness and oppression is far from me

I decree over my life Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against me shall prosper

I decree over my life Psalms 91:10 Sickness and disease shall not come near my dwelling

I decree over my life Psalms 112:3 Wealth riches are in my household

I decree over my life psalms 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation

I decree over my life Romans 14:7 Let the righteousness, peace, and joy of your Kingdom be established in my life

I decree over my life 2 Timothy 4:18 Preserve me onto your heavenly Kingdom

I decree over my life Genesis 22:14 You are Jehovah Jireh, my provider

I decree over my life Deuteronomy 28:6 I am blessed coming in and blessed going out

Lord, we pray that every word spoken will be established in our life. I pray this verse over me and my family members in the precious name of King Jesus.

The Lord begin speaking to me about this week’s post at about 12:18 pm this afternoon, but I didn’t get a chance to write it out until now and that is why there is a time different time stamps. I often wonder why I record the time and date each week, but I was listening to Sophia Ruffin-Wilson who is a Christian Minister and she said that my writing will outlive me. The knowledge that the Holy Spirit has supplied me with will remain on this earth even when I go home and that is a joy because one day far from now another mother will get the tools needed to embrace this journey called grief while learning to draw strength from the scripture just as I do now. Ephesians 3:20 Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Lord, I pray that you do a work in us that we have never seen or heard before in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Benediction

Lord may your words flow through this pen like fire in the name of Jesus. Honestly, a lot of times when writing and a word I never use or a random word comes to mind like the one about ” Benediction, and I wonder and often say Lord why and he usually responds in a firm tone  “Put what I ask you will understand later. I share this to say that please follow Christ, follow Jesus, and when God speaks Do whatever it is that he asks and offer no resistance. As it says in 1 Samuel 15:22 when the Prophet Samuel was speaking to Saul “Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of ram. God does not need anything or want anything from us except that we listen when spoken to and that is for us not him because he sees the end we don’t and if he says to do something there is a reason behind it. I hope that this blesses someone and if ever in doubt pray and God to confirm it there is nothing wrong with asking him to can it plain.

There is a great story in the Bible about asking God to confirm a thing it can be found in Judges 6:36-40. Whenever I share the Good news I often mention to the listener that please go look for yourself. The first reason is that from Matthew 4:4 “People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. When growing in our relationship with God, we must also go back to the main source which is our Bible, to see and learn for ourselves under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. If you can not find what was spoken to you discard it for there are many false teachers out there waiting for an opportunity to taint God’s truth as it says in Jeremiah 23:16 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says to his people: “Do not listen to these prophets when they prophesy to you, filling you with futile hopes. They are making up everything they say. They do not speak for the Lord! Please always go back and search the Bible when a word is taught to you, it is not God’s will for his people to be deceived.

But as I was laying on my sofa this afternoon I said to myself “I wish I could be steadfast and then I heard the spirit of the one true living God say “Be Steadfast. I was then directed to go look up the meaning which said that it means to be firm in belief, determination, or adherence. After reading this I understood more why God’s response was “be steadfast”. I have mentioned before, and I think that it is important to state every so often that this journey no matter how put together one may sound that grief is a hidden battle because no one can see the effects that it has with their natural eyes, but thank God that he does and comforts the broken-hearted. It is draining and very overwhelming, It never lets me down but instead amps up looking for other avenues to show its other sides and this is the part that I hate about this journey.

Mercy -That benevolence, mildness, or tenderness of heart which disposes a person to overlook injuries

Sometimes I feel like I can lay on my sofa all day and other days I feel like I can walk for hours but what I really want is my son back, But I know that this will never happen. Psalm 34:17-18 The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.18 The Lord is close to the broken hearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Many nights I wonder when this will feeling pass. Some days are even hard to pray but I pray with my tears because I know that God knows how I feel when my mouth can not speak. Psalm 56:8 You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?

Even though at times I may not have the words, I have the spirit of the true living God Jehovah infusing my soul. And if we continue to confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved Roman 10:9 and just knowing this keeps me going, even when I do feel like going because as long as I have Gods word strengthen me I know will be happy again.

Closing

Hebrews 10:36 For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and [a]carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised. Lord, I pray this over every person give them steadfastness, patience, and endurance so that they can perform and fully accomplish your will so that they can fully enjoy what was promised.

Have your way, Lord

I stopped writing around 3 pm, the time now is 9:27 pm I just got in from corporate prayer. I was supposed to release this word earlier, but the Lord told me to wait until I got home tonight. He advised me that I was going to receive a word that needed to be put in this text.  I’m coming says the Lord to bring swift Justice have faith my children I’m coming. Please go read the full story why of why he told me to put this in here it can be found in Luke 18:1-8.
