Exodus 2:23-25
23 During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. 24 God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. 25 So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.
Pharoah is dead, but we are alive in Christ Jesus. Mediate on that word for a moment. Last night, I was thinking about a situation and how The Lord would have me speak to it. I am in a season where God is slowing me down. He is teaching me that I don’t need to work on what he has already completed for me. When she was alive, my grandmother would call me a drill sergeant because I always ensured that things were in order and that there was no room to fall apart. But I am realizing that for things to be made new, sometimes, things have to be torn down. We have concerns, but we are God’s concern. In Exodus 22, we read about the birth of Moses, who was like Adam, a representation of Who Jesus is to us. Our speaker was the one who would go before our enemies and confirm the outcome. John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. Those final words of Jesus are so powerful and never to be taken for granted.
“The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. 24 God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. 25 So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.
When the wiles of life come, God says, “Tell my people, don’t even look. Move forward and continue walking the way I have told you to. It’s a distraction, wanting you to doubt if I am still capable. Tell my children that the “I AM” never fails. Go back and check my track record. Who has come against me and has not been crushed? Who has come against me and made it to the other side?”
Exodus 14:19-22
Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, 20 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.
Don’t let the fear of not seeing my moves cause you to become stagnant; keep walking. Be bold and put to remembrance who I have called you to be the righteous are bold as a lion. God said I had drawn the enemy close to putting him to shame again. I am the lion of Judah; no one can stand up to my strength, and I will demolish what is not for you. Pray Psalm 91 and remember that I am your Fortress and place of Safety. Exodus 2:25 So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them. God is so concerned with what is happening in our lives and doesn’t want us to feel stressed and worried; the cares of the world can not take us out. Cast it off in the name of Jesus. Don’t doubt God said I have come through before and will come through again. I need you to trust me like the Israelites did.

The waters were divided, 22 and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.
Today is October 16th, 2024. It’s been three years and 22 days since Joshua’s life was taken, and every day since then, God reminds me that the Red Sea will not swallow me up. It was created for my adversaries. “Death has no sting. Exodus 14:13 is the word God asks you to pray over your situation this week: “I will not be afraid. I will stand firm and see the Lord’s deliverance for me today—the enemies I have been facing today I will never see again. May this week’s words encourage you. God bless you. The song of the week is ” Simple Matter ” by Travis Greene and Forward City.
